McClain's Room

For McClain's Birthday he is going to be getting a "BIG BOY ROOM". He loves cars, planes and trucks so when I saw this adorable bedding from pottery barn kids I new it would be perfect.

I just think this will be great for his room and that he will enjoy it for several years. However some of the best parts of decor is in the little details like this rug and planes to hang from the ceiling.

I am still looking for some more of those little details to make his room special.

FLF to me is a way to inspire others weather it be through design, travel, new recipes or experiences with family.

Speaking of Inspired isn't it great how kids are? Always changing and saying the funniest things. I have two small children let me introduce you to them.

Meet Mylie (left) and McClain (right) in a rare moment of them being completely sweet to each other.

Mylie is 3 years old going on 16 (I am sure those of you with young girls know what I mean by that). She is headstrong, independent and so smart. I hope she always loves to learn as much as she does now.

Her biggest interest right now is Lalaloopsys.

She just let me know she wants a Cinderella Lalaloopsy Party for her birthday (which is July 21). If it was up to her everyday would be a celebration of her. Typical girl right.

McClain is 1 but will be 2 in March. He has grown up so fast. He is so loving and more dependent then I remember Mylie being. McClain's biggest interest is cars and sports. (all boy he is) His other interest is anything his sister is playing with. {insert laughs}

I am using his love for transportation in his room that we are about to redo. More on that later.
